The LHPOST6 hosts and broadcasts webinars by researchers at the facility to disseminate innovative research results to the broader community. Besides on-site workshops, we will hold webinars organized jointly with other professional organizations to highlight outcomes and findings, and promote technology transfer of research conducted at the LHPOST6.
We will also host webinars given by UC San Diego researchers to highlight different aspects of the facility (e.g., selection of 6 DOF earthquake motions, typical layout of an instrumentation plan, use of one of the large soil containers, etc.). Webinars given by invited researchers from other US institutions and international shake table facilities will highlight the state-of-the-art in shake table testing to inspire and motivate new researchers who may be interested in applying for funding to use the LHPOST6.
